Guests from TV's A Taste of Luxury

  • Video_still_jon_napa
Hi there. From 1995 to 2004 I was the host of A Taste of Luxury, a cable television show featuring celebrity chefs and wine makers from around the world. Episodes were mostly filmed in studios in both Boston and Cambridge, yet many shows were filmed in Napa, Spain, Arizona, and other cities. Today podcast interviews with wine makers has replaced the show, so be sure to sign up for automated (and free) podcasts for your ipod.

Tasting Sonoma Wines

Live in NYC?

Chef Ed Brown of Sea Grill is creating an 'Ode to Sonoma' on February 21 at a Winemaker dinner featuring Wild Oak, a new line of luxury wines created by St. Francis winery to express the best of what SonomaCountywinemaking has to offer.

St. Francis President & CEO Christopher Silva will lead us through the wines paired with Ed Brown’s Sonoma inspired Menu. The grapes for Wild Oak wines - Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Syrah and Cabernet - are chosen for their distinct characteristics from premier vineyards in the best Sonoma County appellations (like Rockpile, Dry Creek, Alexander Valley, Russian River) then blended to create rich, luscious and complex wines. Wild Oak wines are produced in limited quantities so this is a tasting that should not be missed!  $145.00 all inclusive
Champagne reception at 6pm, Dinner at 6:30 For Reservations, call the Sea Grill at 212.332.7610

Sounds interesting -- never quite heard the word "luxury wine" before!
